Red Hill Waste Management Facility Tours

Excursions to the Red Hill Waste Management Facility are available free of charge to groups and residents in the EMRC region. Please be advised this is a tour of a landfill facility and includes a 45-minute bus tour around the site followed by the opportunity to visit the education centre, for activities aligned with the GREAT sort campaign.

Available Thursday and Friday only.

Due to the nature of the site, excursions are only available for ≥ Year 3 students in the region. Strictly a maximum of one bus visiting the site at a time and a minimum group size of 15 people is required. Smaller groups and individuals are encouraged to attend a weekend tour.
